Finally its the end of the week that everyone was hoping for.
Project presentations are over!! Sure was hell of a week.
Anyway back to today, last IS lesson. Waste of time if not for the signing of plagiarism forms, i would not have gone to school. Gym and class outing(dinner at NYDC) made up the rest of the day. The day was pretty uneventful other than a few fits of laughter that derived from the countless "NO"s. Walking orchard road aimlessly is seriously not fun after a tiring week, sleepless nights and the darn hot weather.
Last but not least, Dawn is a penguin.

School has finally started. First day of school was like great, apart of having lectures the whole day, it was nice to meet up with friends! Lectures were a drag seriously. New lecturers equals to new rules and styles. I really hate the no laptop rule (no chatting ): ) Looks like this semester is gonna be tiring.

Back to today, had TVProd before Advert lecture. Yes, i do have lectures on Tuesdays as well. TVProd was seriously a drag that I almost fell asleep. Met Anand and friends and played cards in some corner in school. Went for Advert lecture, which was short so it was quite alright.

Saw Egoh, Kenneth and Chong Zheng at Mac where i was slacking with Jarrel. Caught up a little with them. Its nice to know that Chong Zheng is in NP as well. That pretty much sums up my day. And i am ending it by updating my blog. (which is also a drag).

Alright today was the day! The day where all assignments must be completed. Had to drag myself to Radio class at 8 in the morning. I was so tired that i just walked past Anand and Isaac at Cheers without noticing them. Yup, that was how sleepy i was. The worse thing was Radio is just like a revision of the past few lessons! But there were some plus points. Did a short recording with Anand, wanted to do it in chinese, but we ended up talking dirty. we also heard some previous projects done and there was this project with some retarded blabbering and a loud burp. The title was actually monster frog....... like which frog burps?? But the blabbering was seriously very funny.
After Radio, went library with the rest to complete our assignments. Talked about some ways to break the norm. So i did it while buying lunch. When the auntie asked me for my order, i gave her the gibberish talk. As expected, she gave the wth look. It was really quite a fun thing to do. I even tried it on the cleaner who cleared our plates. But did not notice her reaction.. So we went back to the library to get our work done.

This was how we did it.

Well, we had no choice. The blinds were not working and the sunlight was penetrating like nobody's business. The room was HOT! We were in this position from 2 till........4.30. Though uncomfortable, we still got our work done. So studied a little for Socpsyh test before we all head home. The holidays are coming!!! Can't wait much longer....

Yeah! i am back blogging again!
This is week 9! If u are wondering why am i so excited, its the last week of school before the term break! However, week 9 also means deadline week. Thesis outline and phonetics journal are both due on friday. Adding to the stuff due, there is also Socpsyh test to study for. The good news is, i spent yesterday and today at home as there is no school.

Ok, i better start blogging about this week before i start blabbering nonsense. Well, monday was great. No Speechcom and Radio lecture. TBH's lecture also ends early which means short day! After lecture, went to library with Tim, Anand, Isaac and Sinee. Not to study of course. We went there to play board games! Played "Game of Life" first. I ended up being the least successful in life, with a job as an artist and a pathetic pay of only $20k. :( Tim left after the game while we proceed on to play "Scrabble". At least i was better at this game :) After the game, Sinee wanted to go to the toilet. Upon seeing the ladies empty she followed us into the gents. We ended up "jacking" (Sinee's word) her by leaving her alone in the toilet and went out. Here comes the funny bit, she exited the gents at the same time as another girl who was leaving the ladies! I swear it was very funny! and yes Anand, i wanted you to go home with me. Trains are still better than buses in my opinion.

Alright on to tuesday. Woke up at 2 in the afternoon. Wanted to complete my phonetics journal but i ended up doing only half of it. Played FM instead (as always). So the day was quite fruitless in the end as i never complete much of my work. On to today. I finally completed the phonetics journal without the phonetics symbols. Wanted to push the thesis till tomorrow but i cannot because there is Radio tutorial. So i ended up starting on it just now and have completed a large portion of it before i decided to come here and update my blog. I guess thats it for this post. Going to sleep now! No soccer for me tonight.

Alright! I am back after not blogging for 2weeks with people pestering me to update.
So here i am! :) Let me see, i cannot remember much about the past two weeks.

There was this discussion of where to go for night walk during the coming term break. Macritchie Reservoir was mentioned and the term 'monkey ghost' was created by the great Sinee. Why 'monkey ghost'? Well, since we like to scare ourselves occasionally and explore the so-called haunted places, maybe we will chance upon a monkey ghost (forest wad). Likewise, maybe monkeys like exploring HDBs to look for some 'human ghosts'. There was also the discussion of when to go for picnic, i guess its 'SAD'(set),like how Eunice, said on 19th Dec.
In between, i guess i forgot some funny stuff that happened. Then it was our impromptu speech on friday. My topic was 'I wish i could be __'(the blank is not a bad word). Gay topic in my opinion, and i was __(this is a bad word) nervous. Tim, Anand, Isaac and me started saying 'chey' countless of times on that day also. It quite funny if we say it one by one at the same time. I can only remember that much about last week, judging by my packed and small brain.

Back to today. Had lectures, and i took my second pop quiz for Speechcomm, amazingly i reached school at 8:50 even though i slept at 2 last night. Lunch was fun, we ate in the LT without switching on the lights again. We were eating like blind men. We also tried to scare Tim when he went out to buy a drink. Anand and i went in front to hide, however, Tim just opened the door and upon seeing us missing muttered 'guai lan' and walked away. It was quite funny and sorry Tim :) Knowing that the rest of the class will be coming in soon, we went to the middle rows and sat in the dark. But we failed to scare Sinee.
Today also made me realise that in order for me to catch a terrapin, i will need the help of Sinee. She have the remarkable ability to attract terrapins. She actually attracted 3 at a point in time, but without a net, we can only watch. oh wells, maybe next week!

This week, there are a few stuff for me to complete. So i shall write till here. Now to research about gays for wednesday essay. And have fun studying for ITC test this week people!

Today was a really bad day. My god. Mr Chong scolded my group for not taking the presentation seriously. It sure was scary. My first reaction was "what did we do?" then again, maybe it was right for him to blow his top. I guess it all started last week, when people did not turn up for the presentation. I guess, it made him wonder whether are we interested in his lesson. We stayed back after tutorial to apologise to Mr Chong. I guess it was partly our fault. I mean, its our personalities. We do understand the seriousness of the situation and the subject. We are just trying to look at it in a more positive and casual manner. Looks like we will have to take a different approach for the next presentation. Sorry Mr Chong for today. Your lessons are interesting, honestly.

Anyway, after Issues we had IAC. Today's lesson was a little different. We had to attend a talk by the people from the SDSC. It was a really interesting talk. I learnt more about the disabled people living in our community. How these people can be more successful in certain aspects of their lives compared to some of us. It was a really good talk as it creates awareness and makes us respect them more. After the talk, we had to fill up an alternative assessment which is 15% of our final grade. It has been a long time since i paid attention to a talk. But somehow, today i did it. Anyway, I got C for Issues presentation.

Yup, very guai lan right? i totally regret it, seriously. Well, communication is irreversible and cannot be taken back so there's nothing i can do also. TBH2(pronounced as toot) taught us that. Today was also the first time i took the speechcomm pop quiz! Yup, i did not come late toady. However, my "catch a terrapin" goal, sad to say, has not been progressing well. Oh well, this is only week 5, many more weeks to come! Finished my writcomm homework already, like finally. I am so sleeppyy..........

Today was damn funny. I woke up 7.30. Left for school at 8.30. Reached school at 10 only to realise i missed speechcomm. I actually thought my lesson starts at 10!
Anyway, nothing much happened today. And its already week 4! so fast. Soon year 1 will be over and i will be one year older. Sad.

Back at school!! Today was alright, with certain funny events. On our way to lunch at SIM, we stumbled upon this:

So Anand took a photo of it. Not very disgusting though. After lunch, headed to FMS block to meet Grago(Tim) to do our recording for radio. Saw Ms Thomas and Mr Douglas Kwon, our lecturers from last sem. Really great to see them again. Went to TBH lesson late but makes no difference anyway as we ended like 1hr earlier. So me and Anand went to try to catch a terrapin. Almost caught one when it was swimming near the bridge but it disappeared when it saw us. But still we will try to catch one before the sem ends. haha!

Went to toilet, kena guai-lan by a cleaner. Yup, she walked in to the guys' toilet and went "eh boy! u never flush is it?" She was an indian so we started scolding her in mandarin. It was really funny. I went to canteen 1, bought a cup of bubble tea and went to shoot some pearls in the toilet after she finished mopping it. I know, it sounds really bad, but her attitude was like %@$#*%$!!

After radio lecture went to return MD player then went to canteen 1 to slack till 6 with Aini before she went for her FMSSJ meeting. Luckily i didnt get in, i feel its a little retarded though. sorry guys.. Met Chiyang that emo-kid and sort of had dinner with him. After which, i left school with Eunice. That pretty sums up today and i am cheerful!

Anyway i practically stoned through every lecture other than writcomm. and i SINNED today! Socpsyh ended early so i went to the bookstore to get the textbook with Anand and we saw this book

Anyway, that was not the reason why i sinned. on the way back, we decided to catch a turtle from the pond at block 56. However it failed, so we decided to catch a tadpole :)) i know it sounds sadistic, but we still did it. We managed to scoop one out from the pond using a cup containing caffeine. We brought it along for Radio. Anand the sadist and me spent the whole of lecture spinning the cup and trying to torture the tadpole. seriously its pretty amusing to see the tadpole spinning in circles. But don't get me wrong, i am an animal lover. Luckily the tadpole didnt die and we released it back to the 'wild'. To catch a turtle from the pond before the end of the semester will be my aim for every Monday. :)

Its finally the weekend!!i am so happy because i can finally catch up on my precious sleep :)

first week of school was quite alright as most of our classes ended early. however,i guess it will be downhill from now on.went out on Thursday with Anand, Sinee, Eunice and Jarrel. wanted to buy stuff but ended up not buying any while that reluctant and vegeterian(haha) Eunice actually bought something along with Sinee also. ohwells, and also Anand was emo that day and he lied to Eunice that she can order pork dumplings without pork.

Friday saw our first SCPSYH and SPECOM tutorials. SCPSYH was alittle boring though but SPECOM was fun. and i found out that i suck at "i accuse number ..." game.haha, and we learnt how to correctly pronounce words which are commonly said wrongly. like coyote is actually ko-yote, fury is actually fur-ry. alright, u know they are wrong, i was just joking :) well that sort of sums up our first week of school.

Daniel is fascinated by mermaids! thats what i found out during IS class. Joshua is also in the same class and he is fascinated by CB. quoting what mr chong said to him " why are u so fascinated by the place where u first emerged from that u have to call everyone by that name? "
that was during Com Issues class. next came IAC and our teacher's face looked really pissed off. maybe because it was really tanned? and we continued to joke all the way to IAC. anyway, i hope IS class will be fun this semester unlike the last where we had CATS which was not fun because of some people.

The first day of school wasnt as fun as i anticipated. Sitting in the cold and cockroach infested lecture theater and being bombarded by the lecturers was not pleasant at all. Considering that all of us just came back from our 7 weeks of break.

Of course this semester's main killer will be writcomm, which i will not be looking forward to it. With Suja Thomas gone, we had another social psychology and communications lecture, TBH.

Oh yes, PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO PIZZA HUT! we went there for lunch and their service was lousy! "your meal will be served within 15min" actually came more than an hour later. All of us almost starved to death. Ultimately, a bad day.

Writcomm tutorial tmr, not looking forward to it though.

I completed all my games and books within this 7 weeks of hoildays.having nothing to do all day,i decided to watch all the movies i have all over again.and i finished almost half of them already.haha,and i found your blog today!well,i just cant wait for school to re-open next week.ok,maybe i should go do some last minute shopping before school start.

Another day has past and one more day closer to the start of the next sem!which i am looking forward to after spending countless of boring days with me cooping myself at home most of the time...the weather was extremely warm today and even though i had all fans on throughout the house,i still felt hot.

Nothing significant today,although i finally cut my hair after two months of my mum's nagging.with the weather being so hot,i asked my hair to be cut shorter.little did i expect that it would be a dumb decision as i found myself with reasonably short hair!! hopefully it will grow longer over the remaining days of my holidays -_-
